Atlas of Thermal Capture Strength Functions

A new database of calibrated Photon Strength Functions derived from thermal capture data (THC) data was created in 2021 and has been made available here [30 May 2022]. The selection of nuclides from the wealth of available experimental data as well as the method of analsyis are presented in detail in Refs. [1-3]. In addition, thermal capture measurements evaluated in the EGAF database [4] have also been re-analyzed and incorporated in the database. The THC PSF datafiles for 55 nuclei with Z=9-90 are also available in the IAEA PSF database [5].
