Background
----------
The data file of the discrete level schemes and gamma ray branching ratios
(DLS) is the sub-library (Version 1) of the Chinese Evaluated Nuclear
Parameter Library (CENPL).
Data were transformed from the Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File (ENSDF)
[1]. The transforming code from the ENSDF to DLS has been developed in
Beijing, obtained data have been checked and corrected, and the levels, which
are of undetermined energy, and their gamma rays were deleted. The data
format is suitable for computer reading and listing table.

Contents
--------
The file contains data of 79461 levels and 93177 gamma rays for 1908
nuclides. Included are data on both discrete levels with determinate energy
and their gamma rays. For each measured level, its order number, energy, spin,
parity and half-life, as well as the order numbers to the final levels,
branching ratios and multipolarities for gamma rays are listed.
Format
------
The first line for each record contains:
  Z : the charge number, column 1-3.
EL : the element symbol, column 4-6.
  A : the mass number, column 7-10.

The line marked "L" in 13 column contains the data on the level NL, E, dE, J,
P, IS T/2 and UC:
NL : order number of level, column 14-16.
E : level energy in keV, column 17-27.
dE : standard uncertainty in E, column 28-30.
J,P: level spin and parity, column 31-46.
IS : isomer state is denoted by "M", column 47.
  T/2: half-life of the level, column 62-72.
 dT/2: standard uncertainty in T/2, column 73-79.
UC : character "?" denotes an uncertain or questionable level, column 80.

The line marked "G" in 48 column contains the data on a gamma ray for the
level listed above, NG, Br, dBr, MP and UC:
NG : order number to final level for gamma transition, column 49-51.
Br : branching ratio or relative photo intensity for gamma ray, column 52-57.
dBr: standard uncertainty in Br, column 58-61.
Mp : multipolarity of gamma transition, column 62-79.
UC : character "?" denotes uncertain placement of the transition in the
level scheme; letter "s" denotes expected, but as yet unobserved
       transition, column 80.
