Title : Program ZCHEX Author : V.McLane, BNL, USA, 1998-2001 : V.Zerkin, IAEA-NDS, 2001-2020 Purpose: Checking EXFOR file Contents: (all for Windows, Linux and Mac) - Dictionaries: backup, direct-access - Executables: checking (zchex*.exe), reloading dictionaries (danlo*.exe) - example of EXFOR file: 'a.x4' Download: - go to: https://www-nds.iaea.org/public/exfor/programs/zchex-2020-06-29/ - download compressed package according to your OS-version: - OS bits : package file name :OS-version - Windows 32/64 : zchex-win-2020-06-29.zip - MacOS 64 : zchex-mac-2020-06-29.zip :10.14.2 - Linux 64 : zchex-lin-2020-06-29.zip - Linux 32/64 : zchex-lf95-2020-06-29.zip Installation: - unzip files in working directory - programs are ready to run Run: - program should run in the directory with dictionaries (DICT_ZVV.*) - run in Windows: > zchexw.exe - run in Linux: $ ./zchexl.exe - run in MacOSX: $ ./zchexm.exe - run with papameters: EXFOR-file [Trans/Prelim-mode]: $ zchex.exe file.x4 T $ zchex.exe file.x4 D - option for Windows: using Shortcut from the Desktop a) make Shortcut to zchexw.bat: explorer.exe --> mark "zchexw.bat" --> --> right-mouse: Send to Desktop (create shortcut) b) drag-and-drop EXFOR file to the new shortcut (desktop-icon) Example: - run Cheking program in working directory and use defaults for all parameters: press for every question; - result you will have in the file 'a.err' (compare with 'a.err00') How to update dictionaries: copy file DAN_BACK_NEW.xxxx to the working directory and run: - in Windows: > danlow.exe - in Linux: $ ./danlol.exe - run in MacOSX: $ ./danlom.exe
