It was large enough to cover 14433 1 12 entire 5 cm x 5 cm beam spot. 14433 1 13 PART-DET (A,N) 14433 1 14 DETECTOR (TELES,PROPC,SIBAR) Four two-element detector 14433 1 15 telescopes with angular acceptance between 9 and 13 14433 1 16 degrees. The front element of each telescope was a 14433 1 17 gas proportional counter filled with 25 Torr of 14433 1 18 Xenon. The stopping detectors were 450 mm2 silicon 14433 1 19 detectors (500 microm depth) capable of stopping 14433 1 20 alpha-particles up to 33 MeV. 14433 1 21 (IOCH) Multi-element ionization chamber containing 14433 1 22 steel foils coated with films of U-235 and U-238 served14433 1 23 as beam monitor. 14433 1 24 METHOD (TOF) Determination of neutron energies was performed 14433 1 25 via TOF measurements between microbursts (~250 ps 14433 1 26 wide with a 1.8 microsec interval) of the LAMPF 800 14433 1 27 MeV primary proton beam on the spallation target and 14433 1 28 hits in our detectors. 14433 1 29 CORRECTION Background was subtracted using data from empty target 14433 1 30 runs in precisely the same configuration as the 14433 1 31 56Fe-target runs. 14433 1 32 HISTORY (20150805C) BP 14433 1 33 ENDBIB 31 0 14433 1 34 NOCOMMON 0 0 14433 1 35 ENDSUBENT 34 0 14433 199999 SUBENT 14433002 20150805 140914433 2 1 BIB 3 4 14433 2 2 REACTION (26-FE-56(N,X)2-HE-4,,SIG) 14433 2 3 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) All sources of errors included. 14433 2 4 STATUS (TABLE) page 317. 14433 2 5 (DEP,14433003) 14433 2 6 ENDBIB 4 0 14433 2 7 NOCOMMON 0 0 14433 2 8 DATA 4 1 14433 2 9 EN-MIN EN-MAX DATA DATA-ERR 14433 2 10 MEV MEV MB MB 14433 2 11 13.5 14.5 41.2 3.5 14433 2 12 ENDDATA 3 0 14433 2 13 ENDSUBENT 12 0 14433 299999 SUBENT 14433003 20150805 140914433 3 1 BIB 3 3 14433 3 2 REACTION (26-FE-56(N,X)2-HE-4,,SIG) 14433 3 3 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-S) Error bars are purely statistical. 14433 3 4 STATUS (CURVE) Fig. 2, page 316. 14433 3 5 ENDBIB 3 0 14433 3 6 NOCOMMON 0 0 14433 3 7 DATA 3 29 14433 3 8 EN DATA ERR-S 14433 3 9 MEV MB MB 14433 3 10 4.287 0.435 14433 3 11 4.743 0.714 14433 3 12 6.778 6.525 14433 3 13 7.324 9.704 14433 3 14 7.780 11.916 14433 3 15 8.297 12.885 14433 3 16 8.813 16.479 14433 3 17 9.329 17.863 0.967 14433 3 18 9.845 21.870 1.105 14433 3 19 10.331 22.287 1.243 14433 3 20 10.847 25.743 1.381 14433 3 21 11.363 29.750 1.657 14433 3 22 11.880 31.687 1.519 14433 3 23 12.396 33.485 1.381 14433 3 24 12.882 35.144 1.934 14433 3 25 13.367 40.119 2.210 14433 3 26 13.884 39.431 2.072 14433 3 27 14.400 43.439 2.072 14433 3 28 14.887 41.093 2.348 14433 3 29 15.585 45.930 2.071 14433 3 30 16.648 48.974 1.934 14433 3 31 17.590 52.155 2.071 14433 3 32 18.592 58.099 2.348 14433 3 33 19.594 63.905 2.624 14433 3 34 21.112 72.890 1.795 14433 3 35 23.148 75.938 2.210 14433 3 36 25.123 80.506 2.487 14433 3 37 27.069 80.515 2.762 14433 3 38 29.042 90.469 2.900 14433 3 39 ENDDATA 31 0 14433 3 40 ENDSUBENT 39 0 14433 399999 SUBENT 14433004 20150805 140914433 4 1 BIB 4 4 14433 4 2 REACTION (26-FE-56(N,X)2-HE-4,,DE) 14433 4 3 ANALYSIS (INTAD) 14433 4 4 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-S) Error bars are purely statistical. 14433 4 5 STATUS (CURVE) Fig. 3, page 316. 14433 4 6 ENDBIB 4 0 14433 4 7 COMMON 1 3 14433 4 8 EN 14433 4 9 MEV 14433 4 10 14.0 14433 4 11 ENDCOMMON 3 0 14433 4 12 DATA 3 10 14433 4 13 E DATA ERR-S 14433 4 14 MEV MB/MEV MB/MEV 14433 4 15 3.498 0.586 0.343 14433 4 16 4.527 1.593 0.466 14433 4 17 5.535 1.375 0.539 14433 4 18 6.538 3.656 0.466 14433 4 19 7.563 7.164 0.613 14433 4 20 8.569 7.852 0.564 14433 4 21 9.529 7.020 0.490 14433 4 22 10.564 5.282 0.637 14433 4 23 11.550 3.617 0.343 14433 4 24 12.511 2.589 0.270 14433 4 25 ENDDATA 12 0 14433 4 26 ENDSUBENT 25 0 14433 499999 SUBENT 14433005 20150805 140914433 5 1 BIB 5 6 14433 5 2 REACTION (26-FE-56(N,X)2-HE-4,,DA) 14433 5 3 DETECTOR Angular acceptance of detectors ranged between 14433 5 4 +-9 and 13 degrees. 14433 5 5 ANALYSIS (INTED) 14433 5 6 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-S) Error bars are purely statistical. 14433 5 7 STATUS (CURVE) Fig. 4, page 316. 14433 5 8 ENDBIB 6 0 14433 5 9 COMMON 1 3 14433 5 10 EN 14433 5 11 MEV 14433 5 12 14.0 14433 5 13 ENDCOMMON 3 0 14433 5 14 DATA 3 4 14433 5 15 ANG DATA ERR-S 14433 5 16 ADEG MB/SR MB/SR 14433 5 17 30. 5.219 0.351 14433 5 18 60. 3.563 0.140 14433 5 19 90. 2.785 0.421 14433 5 20 135. 2.284 0.246 14433 5 21 ENDDATA 6 0 14433 5 22 ENDSUBENT 21 0 14433 599999 ENDENTRY 5 0 1443399999999
