Each energy deposit signal in a cube was 14821001 33 collected by three WLS fibers and mapped in three 14821001 34 orthogonal views. The detector used three types of 14821001 35 Hamamatsu MP-PCs, S13360-1325CS, S13081-050CS and 14821001 36 S12571-025C, installed in three different regions of 14821001 37 the top view of the detector. 14821001 38 SAMPLE Plastic scintillator (CH). 14821001 39 METHOD (TRN,TOF) The total neutron cross-section measurement 14821001 40 was estimated utilizing the so-called extinction 14821001 41 technique. In the presence of neutron-nucleus 14821001 42 interactions, the signal event rate decreases 14821001 43 exponentially along the z-coordinate: N(z) = N0*exp(- 14821001 44 T*sigmatot*z), where N0 and N(z) are the neutron 14821001 45 event rates at the reconstructed z positions in the 14821001 46 first layer, and in a more downstream layer in the 14821001 47 detector. T and sigmatot are the nuclear density and 14821001 48 the neutron total cross section, respectively. 14821001 49 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-T) The total uncertainty is dominated by the 14821001 50 contribution from the detection systematic 14821001 51 uncertainty. The detector has a geometrical and 14821001 52 electronics non-uniformity which generates a 14821001 53 detection uncertainty. The fiber, fiber hole, MPPC, 14821001 54 insulating Tyvek layer and cubes have some variation 14821001 55 in their alignment. 14821001 56 (ERR-S) Statistical uncertainty associated with data. 14821001 57 STATUS (TABLE) The data were recovered from the 14821001 58 https://arxiv.org/src/2207.02685v3/anc/.
