Errors' structure is given 22428 1 11 METHOD (ACTIV) Activation 22428 1 12 FACILITY (CCW,2JPNOSA) The intense 14 MeV neutron source 22428 1 13 OKTAVIAN at Osaka University. 22428 1 14 INC-SOURCE (D-T) The D-beam energy was 300 keV and the intensity 22428 1 15 was 5 milliamps. A sample transport system of six 22428 1 16 pneumatic tubes provided irradiation positions giving 22428 1 17 monochromatic neutrons of 13.4-14.9 MeV. Another tube 22428 1 18 was put at -105 deg to check the symmetry of the sys- 22428 1 19 tem. The irradiation positions was about 15 cm from 22428 1 20 the tritium target. An additional tube set at -22.5 22428 1 21 deg and at 1.5 cm distance was used when strong acti- 22428 1 22 vities were required. The transfer time was about 22428 1 23 2 sec. 22428 1 24 INC-SPECT Neutron energies cover range from 14.9 to 13.4 MeV 22428 1 25 angles of irradiation are 0, 50, 75, 105, 125, 155 22428 1 26 adeg. Distance between tritium target and sample is 22428 1 27 15 cm. The effective energy of incident neutrons at 22428 1 28 irradiation position was determined by the ratio of 22428 1 29 90-Zr(n,2n) and 93-Nb(n,2n)92m-Nb cross section 22428 1 30 DETECTOR (HPGE ) Two Ge detectors with efficiencies of 12 and 22428 1 31 16%, having resolution of 1.75 and 2.00 keV, 22428 1 32 respectively, were used to measure the induced acti- 22428 1 33 vities. Each detector was covered with 5 mm acrylic 22428 1 34 absorber to reduce beta-rays. The efficiency calibra- 22428 1 35 tion was performed at a distance of 5 cm using 24-Na, 22428 1 36 56-Co, 133-Ba, 152-Eu and 154-Eu sources. 22428 1 37 MONITOR (13-AL-27(N,A)11-NA-24,,SIG) 22428 1 38 (13-AL-27(N,P)12-MG-27,,SIG) 22428 1 39 DECAY-MON (11-NA-24,14.959HR,DG,1368.6,0.99994) 22428 1 40 (12-MG-27,9.46MIN,DG,843.8,.720) 22428 1 41 SAMPLE .The samples of mass-separated isotopes and samples 22428 1 42 of natural abundance were used.
