C0238 1 33 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Standard errors assigned to the cross C0238 1 34 sections are based on the estimates of errors from C0238 1 35 counting statistics, resolution of gamma-ray spectra, C0238 1 36 etc., or on the agreement of multiple determinations C0238 1 37 whichever was larger. They do not, in general, C0238 1 38 include systematic effects such as the uncertainties C0238 1 39 in the monitor cross section (15 %) or gamma-ray C0238 1 40 abundances. However, where several gamma rays were C0238 1 41 assayed for one nuclide, the errors include C0238 1 42 contributions from uncertainties in both the C0238 1 43 efficiency and abundance.
