An electron suppressor was employed to C2068001 23 remove extraneous electrons from the slits defining C2068001 24 the incoming proton beam. The energy scale of the C2068001 25 scintillation counter was calibrated by observing the C2068001 26 "photopeaks" from the 177Lu gamma rays of energies C2068001 27 112.97 and 208.36 keV. During the study of excitation C2068001 28 curves, readings of yields were taken at both 0 and 90 C2068001 29 degrees with respect to the incident beam direction. C2068001 30 At most resonances 45 and 135 degrees intensities C2068001 31 were also measured. C2068001 32 ANALYSIS (PGS,SHAPE) The excitation curves of the radiation, C2068001 33 following the inelastic proton scattering were C2068001 34 analyzed. Most of the resonances have been previously C2068001 35 identified as resonances for the production of C2068001 36 capture gamma radiation. In addition to the gamma-ray C2068001 37 yield, the absolute cross section for 109 and 197 keV C2068001 38 states in 19F was calculated using the scintillator C2068001 39 efficiency and stopping cross section.
