C2288001 25 DETECTOR (HPGE) Gamma rays were detected using Gammasphere, C2288001 26 which is an array of about 100 Compton-suppressed Ge C2288001 27 spectrometers. C2288001 28 (SISD) Charged particle were detected using compact C2288001 29 array of three annular double-sided silicon strip C2288001 30 detectors located inside the target chamber. Each Si C2288001 31 detector had a thickness of 500 mu-m and was C2288001 32 subdivided into 16 rings and 16 wedges covering the C2288001 33 angular ranges of 147-170deg, 123-143deg and 17-32deg, C2288001 34 respectively.
