C2746 1 20 DETECTOR (HPGE) Gamma rays were detected using Hyperion array, C2746 1 21 which consisted of 12 Compton-suppressed high-purity C2746 1 22 germanium (HPGe) clover detectors C2746 1 23 (TELES,SISD,SISD) In this experiment Hyperion array C2746 1 24 contained also an Si telescope array located 28 mm C2746 1 25 downstream of the target, consisting of 150 mu-m C2746 1 26 thick dE detector and 1500 mu-m thick E detector. C2746 1 27 Both detectors were were standard Micron C2746 1 28 Semiconductor S2 design with 24 annular strips, each C2746 1 29 with 1 mm pitch, on the junction side and eight 45 C2746 1 30 deg sectors on the Ohmic side. C2746 1 31 (SISD) An upstream detector for decay protons was C2746 1 32 placed 34 mm upstream from the target. It was the C2746 1 33 same S2 design with thickness of 500 mu-m.
