Each C2894001 25 GRETINA module is made of four 36-fold segmented C2894001 26 high-purity Ge detectors. The TRIPLEX plunger device C2894001 27 was located about 13 cm upstream of the center of C2894001 28 GRETINA in order to facilitate the clear C2894001 29 identification of the Be and Ta reaction C2894001 30 contributions using two Doppler-shifted peaks. C2894001 31 (MAGSP) Reaction products were identified event-by- C2894001 32 event by time-of-flight and energy-loss measurements C2894001 33 from the S800 spectrograph. C2894001 34 CORRECTION All gamma rays were Doppler-corrected C2894001 35 INC-SOURCE A 140 MeV/A 48Ca primary beam was impinged on a 9Be C2894001 36 production target. A 100.1 MeV/A secondary 29Ne beam C2894001 37 was produced and selected by the A1900 fragment C2894001 38 separator, with a purity of 25% and a typical C2894001 39 intensity of 60 pps. A secondary beam of 32Mg at C2894001 40 117.4 MeV/u was produced as part of the secondary C2894001 41 cocktail beam with a purity of 25% and a typical C2894001 42 intensity of 60 pps.
