Subject: Staples data

Attachments: staples-05-exfor.xls

Dear All,

I am working now with Staples’s data.

I received more then 10 years ago numerical data 235U PFNS from Staples. I used these spectra in my publications and data evaluation.

Now I compared “original” data with data from EXFOR taken Fig. 5 of their publication. The difference is rather big (see enclosed file). The average energy for “original” <E>=2.055MeV, and for EXFOR data <E>=2.012MeV.

I prefer so named “original” data for 235U, and will not use EXFOR data for 239Pu at all!

Regards
