Despite this enrichment, most of the strong peaks in the 151ND3C spectra are from 142ND, 143ND, 146ND, 148ND and 149SM contaminants. 151ND4C 1975SmZT carried out chemical purification on their target material to 151ND5C eliminate the 149SM contribution. 1976Pi13 seem not to have taken such 151ND6C a precaution. The curved crystal energy measurements of 1976Pi13 are 151ND7C better than the GE(LI) values of 1975SmZT. Due to contamination 151ND8C problems, there is serious lack of agreement as to GAMMA intensities 151ND9C and as to which gammas are to be attributed to 151ND. 1976Pi13 show G 151NDAC spectra above 4400 KEV while 1975SmZT show spectra from 22 to 485 KEV 151NDBC and above 4300 KEV. These have been used by evaluator to exclude a 151NDCC number of G's and question the inclusion of others. The evaluator has 151NDDC also classified a number of transitions. The level scheme is based 151NDEC entirely on energy sums. Relatively few of the observed transitions 151NDFC have been placed in the level scheme 151ND CG The following G's listed by 1976Pi13 have been attributed to 151ND2CG impurities by 1985BuZU and the evaluator and have been omitted. For 151ND3CG each the listed RI is given in parentheses. 71.957(0.92), 78.961(0.24), 151ND4CG 129.353(0.20), 157.382(0.43), 161.897(0.38), 180.436(0.42), 151ND5CG 193.292(0.86) 151ND CL The following G's listed by 1975SmZT as primary G's have been 151ND2CL identified with the 143ND(N,G) reaction by 1985BuZU. These, and the 151ND3CL levels associated with them, are 4515.5(818), 4323.7(1010), 151ND4CL 4268.6(1066), 4215.5(1119), 4077.8(1257), 4010.8(1324) and 151ND5CL 3777.3(1557). Unless supported by other G's, these levels have been 151ND6CL excluded 151ND CL By assuming that all G's of energy above 3200 KEV directly 151ND2CL deexcite the 1/2+ capture state, the evaluator has identified a 151ND3CL number of possible levels. These are labelled as uncertain, except 151ND4CL when supported by several other G's or by 150ND(D,P) data 151ND CG E$From bent crystal data (1976Pi13) where possible. The GE(LI) 151ND2CG and pair spectrometer measurements are also from 1976Pi13 where 151ND3CG available 151ND CG RI$To normalize the RI scales used by 1975SmZT to that of 1976Pi13, 151ND2CG their low energy intensities must be multiplied by 1.85 44 and their 151ND3CG high energy neutron capture GAMMA intensities by 0.065 9. These 151ND4CG renormalization ratios are each based on eight strong lines. RI values 151ND5CG given are weighted means of the renormalized intensities. DRI's are 151ND6CG probably 10 to 15%. Absence of RI indicates a weak transition. If 151ND7CG DRI is given as a limit, part of the intensity is suspected as being 151ND8CG due to a contaminant 151ND CG M$Electron spectra were recorded with the reactor on and off in 151ND2CG the hope that CC's and hence multipolarities might be assigned. No 151ND3CG conversion electron peaks were detected, but this fact was used to 151ND4CG assign E1 character to a few strong transitions. 1976Pi13 assign E1 151ND5CG multipolarity to a number of primary G's because their intensity 151ND6CG exceeds the allowable M1 strength.
