Plotting with Web-ZVView
(V.Zerkin, IAEA-NDS, July-November 2009)
ZVView is a multi-platform software package that has originally been designed so that evaluators of nuclear reaction data can perform efficient interactive visual analyses of cross section data retrieved from the EXFOR and ENDF libraries. Since 2004, ZVView is also integrated to Web retrieval systems (EXFOR and ENDF) developed in the IAEA-NDS, where all interactions are done on html-page, and ZVView is used in background on server side, invisible for user. In 2009, ZVView was extended to work with other data types, including 3D presentation of covariance matrices.
Web-ZVView is an interactive plotting Web application, which can be used independently from traditional IAEA nuclear data services. It can be either called from remote Web servers or work with user's data. All operations are performed on server side via Web browser, i.e. there is no need for downloading and installation of ZVView on user's PC.
