Atlas of Giant Dipole Resonance Parameters

The updated Atlas of Giant Dipole Resonances (GDR) [1] produced within the IAEA CRP is available here. The Atlas contains values and uncertainties (one-sigma standard deviation) of the parameters of the Isovector Giant Dipole Resonances (GDR) built on ground states of atomic nuclei. The parameters are given for 144 isotopes from Li-6 to Pu-239 and 19 elements of natural isotopic composition (478 entries as a whole). These quantities are taken from tables 1 and 2 of reference [1] . They were determined by fitting Lorentz-like curves based on the Standard Lorentzian (SLO) and Simple Modified Lorentzian (SMLO) empirical models to photonuclear cross-section data using the least-squares method. The peak values (CSp) of the Lorentzians at the GDR photon energies with their uncertainties (dCSp) are also given in the datafiles. More details can be found in the Readme files.

The Atlas of GDR parameters for 8980 isotopes produced within the IAEA CRP is also available. The datafiles contain the recommended experimental values of the GDR parameters for nuclides for which experimental data are available, taken from the same files `gdr_parameters_recommended_exp_slo.dat` and `gdr_parameters_recommended_exp_smlo.dat` mentioned above, and in addition values which are calculated within systematics for nuclides without any experimental data. Details can be found in the Readme files.
